| | General Description | Taq DNA Polymerase, GMP Grade, is manufactured under GMP conditions. It also fulfills the high quality and documentation requirements of research and development laboratories in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Taq DNA Polymerase, GMP Grade, gives high lot-to-lot consistency. Recombinant Taq DNA Polymerase (from Thermus aquaticus, recombinant E. coli), GMP Grade, is a highly processive 5′–3′ DNA polymerase that lacks 3′–5′ exonuclease activity. The thermostable enzyme is a single polypeptide chain with a molecular weight of approximately 95 kD. Taq DNA Polymerase also accepts modified deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates for highly efficient DNA labeling with radionucleotides, digoxigenin, fluorescein, or biotin. |
