| KEROSENE Usage And Synthesis |
Definition | KEROSENE is a complex combination of normal paraffins obtained by a selective adsorption process using a solid adsorbent such as a molecular sieve. It consists of straight chain saturated hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C5 through C20 and boiling in the range of 35.degree.C to 345.degree.C (95.degree.F to 653.degree.F). |
