DescriptionPhencyclidine hydrochloride (PCP) is a psychoactive drug that has inhibitory, excitatory, analgesic and hallucinogenic effects on the central nervous system. Its chemical name is 1-(1-phenylcyclohexane)piperidine. It is a dissociative drug once used by anesthesiologists as an anesthetic with hallucinogenic and neurotoxic effects.
