Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a white shiny hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 714°C and a boiling point of 1412°C. It has a very strong deliquescent property, which is higher than that of 6-water magnesium chloride and 2-water magnesium chloride. The physical and chemical properties are basically the same as hexahydrate magnesium chloride. 1. Metallurgical industry:
It is used to manufacture refractory materials and adhesives for building furnace arms, and is a raw material for manufacturing No. 2 flux and smelting metal magnesium.
2. Chemical industry:
It is mainly used to make various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, and firecracker solid primer. It is also used as a raw material for antifreeze.
3. Building materials:
Made with magnesite (MgO) hard and corrosion-resistant magnesia cement, which can be made into artificial marble, terracotta tiles, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fireproof panels, greenhouse supports, partitions, magnesite manhole covers, bathtubs , Door and window frames and mobile homes.
4. Machinery industry:
