Product name: T561 metal deactivator is a thiadiazole derivative

Description: Light brown transparent liquid. This product is a corrosion inhibitor for copper. Non ferrous metal deactivators have excellent oil solubility and can be used as metal deactivators in lubricating oils. It also has good extrusion and anti-wear properties.

Usage: Metal deactivator T561 is a thiadiazole polysulfide that can capture active sulfur in oil and inhibit metal corrosion. Due to its presence of polysulfide bonds, T561 can form a sulfide film on the metal surface, effectively suppressing the catalytic effect of metal ions on oil products. Therefore, in improving the performance of oil products, T561 is a very effective lubricant additive. By adding 0.03-0.05% T-561 metal deactivator to the alkaline high zinc anti-wear hydraulic oil formula, the oil can pass the Dennison HF-2 hydrolysis stability test. Adding 0.4-0.5% T-561 metal deactivator to the internal combustion engine oil formula can increase the TFOUT induction period of the oil by more than 60 minutes. In addition, T-561 metal deactivator can also be applied to industrial gear oil and high-quality gasoline engine oil.
