Altrenogest

Altrenogest, also known as allyltrenbolone, is an orally active progestogen that inhibits the release of gonadotropins in a mode of action similar to that of natural progesterone.
 
Clinically, altrenogest is mainly used to regulate the estrous cycle of pigs and horses, promote estrus synchronization, and maintain pregnancy, etc. It is also applied to other animals such as cheetahs, ocelots, zebras, dolphins, etc.
