Uses: LGD-4033 is a non-steroidal oral, selective androgen receptor modulator in healthy young adults

Physical and chemical properties: Bioactive Ligandrol (LGD-4033, VK-5211) is a novel non-steroidal, orally selective androgen receptor regulator with high affinity (Kd of about 1 nM) and high selectivity for androgen receptors.

In vivo studies: In animal models, LGD-4033 has anabolic activity in muscle and inhibitory absorption and anabolic activity in bone, while selectivity in muscle is higher than in prostate. LGD-4033 is safe and well-tolerated at the concentrations detected, with a long elimination half-life of about 24-36 hours and linear pharmacokinetic characteristics.
