1. A Powerful Antioxidant

For many years, Ergothioneine has been considered a highly effective low molecular weight antioxidant.

It is mainly consumed in the human body through daily diet and can accumulate in cells subjected to high levels of oxidative stress. Compared with Resveratrol, an antioxidant with high free radical scavenging capacity but low bioavailability, ergothione has higher bioavailability.
