Neosperidin Dihydrochalcone NEW

Neohesperidosyl dihydrochalcone (Neohesperidin DC, NHDC) is a hydrogenated flavonoid derivative of neohesperidin extracted from natural citrus plants and is an artificial sweetener. Dihydrochalcone is a very important active ingredient with antioxidant, anti-tumor, anti-diabetic, antibacterial and estrogen-like effects. It is already permitted as a sweetener in Europe. In 1997, new hesperidin dihydrochalcone was included in the "Health standard for the use of food additives" by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China and can be used in the food industry. It has a strong sweetness (1500 to 1800 times the sweetness of sucrose), refreshing taste, lasting aftertaste, and excellent shielding bitter effect. At present, due to the low extraction rate and high price, it has not been widely used in the food industry.

Therefore, this product can be used in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry and feed industry as a sweetener (or taste modifier).
