Neumocandins B0 is a natural antifungal agent produced by Zalerionarboricola. It has cyclic hexapeptide parent nucleus and fatty acid side chain structure. It is effective against a variety of Candida Chemicalbook, endemic fungi, Aspergillus and Pneumocandins carinii.Therefore, more and more people pay attention to it.After the fatty acid side chain of Neomocontin B0 is removed, the cyclic hexapeptide parent nucleus is the main raw material for the synthesis of Caspofungin.
Neumocontin B0, an antifungal lipopeptide, is an effective antifungal agent that inhibits the production of β-(1,3) -D-glucan, a basic component of the cell wall of sensitive fungi.It acts by inhibiting the synthesis of β- (1,3) -D-chemicalbook glucan, a fungal cell wall component (IC50=70 and 67ng/ mL for inhibiting glucan synthase and A1 in Candida albicans) and can be used to synthesize carpofungin acanthate acetate.
