Basic Red 1 Dyeing Fastness(grade)

Basic Red 1  Properties and Applications:

It's appearance is green with flashing sand or lumpy. Soluble in cold and hot water, highly soluble in alcohol, both appear blue-green. It is yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, diluted turn into dark red; Orange in concentrated nitric acid, diluted turn into orange brown . It's aqueous solution with sodium hydroxide has green light-white precipitate, add hydrochloric acid to red -yellow.

Acrylic fiber dyeing: in the bath of silk and sodium acetate, the pH value of dyeing bath is below 5, if sulfuric acid bath, the color is slightly yellow; With formic acid bath, colored light yellow. If need to under 120 ºC high temperature dyeing, color of light is constant, when the dye bath pH greater than 8, namely to colorless; Again when the dye bath pH value reduced to 6 below, recoverable colours.
