Characteristics & Usages

SONGSORB? CS 400 WB is an aqueous, solvent-free UV-Absorber emulsion. 

Its major  features and applications are: 

- Ideal for applications where strong and long-term protection from UV-radiation  is required. It can be used in a variety of waterborne systems for interior and  exterior industrial, decorative and automotive coatings. 

- A high thermal stability and photo-permanence that makes it suitable for  coatings exposed to high bake temperatures and/or to extreme long-term  environmental conditions. 

 - SONGSORB? CS 400 WB is recommended for clear and light-pigmented  systems for automotive OEM and refinish coatings, general industrial finishes,  plastic coatings, coatings on PC & PMMA sheets, architectural coatings as  well as adhesives and sealants. 

- SONGSORB? CS 400 WB is not sensitive to metal ions and/or amines and is  especially suited for waterborne acrylics and PUD dispersions. - Synergisms and enhanced performances are known when used in  combination with SONGSORB? CS AQ01 or other waterborne hindered amine  light stabilizers (HALS).

Recommended dosage

2.0 - 6.0% of SONGSORB? CS 400 WB

(Synergistic effect: 1.0 - 4.0% of SONGSORB? CS AQ01)

Storage information

Keep away from frost; store between 5°C and 30°C.  Maximum recommended storage time under suitable conditions (dry and cool):6 months. To guarantee best performance in use SONGSORB? CS 400 WB must be homogenized by stirring before use.
