Shanghai Famo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in May 2011, mainly engages in the R&D,production and sales of API, intermediates and fine chemicals. It is also involved in CDMO business for new drugs, including process development and transfer. Shanghai Famo has passed ISO9001 quality system certification, and it won the title of Shanghai High-tech Enterprise in 2022, and won the title of SRDI (Specialized,refined,differentiated,innovative) enterprise in 2023. Shanghai Famo pays close attention to R&D investment, it has obtained 6 patents till now.
Shanghai Famo is located at No. 3399,Kangxin Road, Zhoupu Medical Park, Pudong District,covering an area of about 2000 square meters. The synthesis laboratory has 52 sets of ventilation cabinets, where lab-scale experiments and pilot experiments (with four 50L glass reactors) are conducted. Analysis room covers an area of 300 square meters with complete and precise instruments, it's divided into GC room, HPLC room, physical and chemical room, weighing room. The items that can be tested by ourselves contain LC-MS, HPLC purity, GC purity, residual solvents, residue on ignition, moisture, melting point, titration content, loss on drying,etc. The third-party testing institutions are also located in the same park, and some tests can also be entrusted them to do.
Shanghai Famo has 66 employees, including 30 R&D personnels, 1 doctor and 6 masters. The main staff graduated from Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry, they have many years of experience in drug R&D and process optimization, and meanwhile have a deep understanding of the quality requirements, crystal forms, laws and regulations of active molecules and intermediates of drugs. Shanghai Famo has established deep cooperation with Shanghai University of Engineering Science and introduced a large number of professionals.
