PDZ1 Domain inhibitor peptide is a novel cyclic peptide that contains 7 amino acids in its sequence and has an amide linked circular structure. PDZ1 Domain inhibitor peptide can disrupt the interaction between GluK2 (formerly GluR6) and postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD-95), competing with the C-terminal of GluK2 to bind to the PDZ1 domain of PSD-95 and inhibit the aggregation of kainic acid receptors.
