The sequence contains a large amount of Acidic amino acid Asp and a small amount of Arg. The C-terminal of Casein Kinase 2 Substrate Peptide binds to 5- [(2-aminoethyl) amino] naphthalen-1-sulfonic acid (EDANS). Casein Kinase 2 Substrate Peptide can be used for the determination of protein kinase CK2 activity.
