As a drug peptide, ATX-GD-59 is a peptide therapy. Its main biological mechanism is to mimic the antigen epitope to inactivate the white blood cells attacking the thyroid, prevent the production of anti thyroid hormone receptor (TSHR) stimulating antibodies, and target the immunological basis of Graves disease. It is expected to become the first modified and innovative therapy for Graves disease in 60 years. In clinical practice, ATX-GD-59 has good safety and tolerance in the treatment of Graves disease, and can even cause the level of thyroid hormone receptor (TSHR) antibody to be normal.
