Cotadutide acetate is an effective dual peptide agonist peptide of glucagon like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucagon receptor. The sequence contains 31 amino acids. The N-terminal of the polypeptide is blocked by palmitic acid. The peptide structure contains a ring structure composed of an amide bond. The EC50 values are 6.9 pM and 10.2 pM, respectively. Cotadutide acetate has the ability to promote weight loss and control blood sugar, and has the potential to be used in the study of obesity and type 2 diabetes (T2D).
