背景

链霉亲和素（Streptavidin）是由streptomyces avidinii菌分泌的四聚体蛋白，可以高度特异性地和生物素（Biotin）结合，结合常数为10⁻¹⁴ mol/L，一分子 Streptavidin 可以结合 4 个 Biotin 分子，这种结合是目前自然界已知最强的非共价作用。 Streptavidin 和鸡蛋清来源的亲和素（Avidin）相比，两者与 Biotin 结合的亲和力高度相似性， 但Streptavidin在中性条件下几乎不带电荷，因此Streptavidin的非特异性结合比Avidin低很多， 检测时的非特异性背景也就少很多。Streptavidin 可以用于 Biotin 标记的抗体、核酸、蛋白或其他生物素标记分子的检测。Streptavidin (FITC)产品是用高纯度的 Streptavidin 和高纯度的 FITC 染料共价连接，并去除游离FITC。FITC标记的链霉亲和素是间接法荧光染色中一种非常有用的二抗，可以高亲和性地结合生物素化抗体。FITC由488nm的激光激发，可以在最大波长为520nm处检测到其发射光。
