EphA4分子背景
受体酪氨酸激酶与位于邻近细胞上的膜结合的肝配蛋白-A家族配体混杂结合，导致接触依赖性双向信号传导进入邻近细胞。受体下游的信号通路称为正向信号通路，而肝配蛋白配体下游的信号途径称为反向信号通路。由配体ephrin-A1/EFNA1激活，调节细胞的迁移、整合素介导的粘附、增殖和分化。通过DSG1/桥粒糖蛋白-1和抑制ERK1/ERK2（分别为MAPK3/MAPK1）信号通路调节细胞粘附和分化。配体ephrin-A5/EFNA5的参与可能调节晶状体纤维细胞的形状和相互作用，对晶状体透明度的发展和维持很重要。ephrin-A2/EFNA2可能通过调节破骨细胞生成和成骨细胞生成在骨重塑中发挥作用。
