This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 96.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-130 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
NPP家族包含七名成员，根据其底物可分为两组。第一类包括核苷酸降解蛋白NPP1、3和4。NPP3（CD203c，ENPP3）在多个器官中表达，包括上皮和粘膜表面，尤其是嗜碱性粒细胞和肥大细胞。抗原结合的IgE激活嗜碱性粒细胞导致炎症介质的释放和NPP3向细胞表面的快速上调。事实上，这种蛋白质是通过流式细胞术诊断患者嗜碱性粒细胞过敏原敏感性的常见标志物。嗜碱性粒细胞和肥大细胞介导对某些病原体的反应，以及急性和慢性过敏反应。激活后，这些细胞释放ATP，ATP以自分泌的方式进一步刺激它们。NPP3上调有助于降解ATP并抑制慢性过敏性炎症（但不是急性反应）。
