Mast/干细胞生长因子受体试剂盒（c-Kit）是蛋白激酶超家族、Tyr蛋白激酶家族和CSF-1/PDF受体亚家族的成员，也被称为花斑性状蛋白（PBT）、p145 c-Kit、酪氨酸蛋白激酶试剂盒和CD117，其中包含五个Ig样C2型（免疫球蛋白样）结构域和一个蛋白激酶结构域。CD117作为细胞因子KITLG/SCF的细胞表面受体，在调节细胞存活和增殖、造血、干细胞维持、配子发生、肥大细胞发育、迁移和功能以及黑色素生成中起着至关重要的作用。作为对KITLG/SCF结合的反应，CD117可以激活多种信号通路。此外，活化的KIT促进蛋白磷酸酶PTPN6/SHP-1和PTPRU以及转录因子STAT1、STAT3、STAT5A和STAT5B的磷酸化。
