This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 110.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 125-145 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
KLB（Klotho Beta）是一种蛋白质编码基因。其相关途径包括RET信号传导和HIV生命周期。与该基因相关的GO注释包括水解酶活性、水解O-糖基化合物和成纤维细胞生长因子结合。KL是该基因的一个重要同源物。Klothoβ是多种代谢过程的调节因子，但其在癌症中的作用尚不清楚。我们发现，与成对的相邻非肿瘤肝组织相比，βKlotho在人肝细胞癌组织中的表达下调。与正常肝细胞相比，肝癌细胞也显示出βKlotho表达降低。将βKlotho重新引入肝癌细胞抑制了它们的增殖。
