背景（Background）
CD16编码一种受体，该受体识别免疫球蛋白G的Fc部分，并参与清除循环中的免疫复合物，以及其他功能，如细胞介导的细胞毒性和增强病毒感染。该基因FCGR3A与位于1号染色体上的另一个邻近基因FCGR3B具有高度相似性。该基因编码的受体在自然杀伤（NK）细胞上表达为通过跨膜肽锚定的完整膜糖蛋白，而FCGR3B在多形核中性粒细胞（PMN）上表达，受体通过磷脂酰肌醇（PI）连接锚定。该基因的突变与免疫缺陷20有关，并与复发性病毒感染的易感性、系统性红斑狼疮的易感性和同种免疫新生儿中性粒细胞减少症有关。或者，已经发现该基因存在编码不同异构体的剪接转录变体。与FCGR3A相关的疾病包括免疫缺陷20和带状疱疹。
