ELA-21 (human) is an apelin receptor agonist consisting of 21 amino acids, with a sequence containing a pair of disulfide bonds and a pKi of 8.52. ELA-21 (human) completely inhibits Forskolin induced cAMP production and stimulates β - arrestin recruitment at Yanamol potency. ELA-21 (human) is also an agonist of G protein dependent and non dependent pathways.
