This enzyme belongs to the family of transferases, specifically those transferring phosphorus-containing
nucleotide groups (nucleotidyltransferases). This enzyme participates in aminophosphonate metabolism and glycerophospholipid metabolism. This product with the indicated enzyme activity was briefly purified from engineered E.coli.
