Usage: 

• It is mainly used in latex water-dispersed coatings in the coating industry.Because the HLB value of this solvent is close to 9.0, its function in the dispersion system plays the role of dispersant/emulsifier/rheological agent/cosolvent.
• Improve the drying speed, flatness, brightness, and adhesion fastness of water-dispersed coatings. Due to its tert-butyl structure, it has high photochemical stability and safety. The water-dispersed paint made with this solvent has good storage stability, especially under low temperature conditions in winter.
• The ink made with ETB as a solvent, or used as a thinner in printing inks, can greatly improve the rheology of the ink, improve the quality, gloss and adhesion fastness of high-speed printing.
• Film forming aids and stabilizers for polymer emulsions.

5. Industrial cleaning agent, can be used as co-solvent of water-based cleaning agent. Electronic chemical cleaning agent.

6. In the ink industry, as an ink dispersant, it can improve the rheology of ink.

7. Pharmaceutical extractant, organic synthesis intermediate.

Advantages:

Our ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether (ETB) mainly replaces ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (BCS), which has the same molecular formula as BCS and is an isomer. It has very low odor, low toxicity, low photochemical reactivity, mild to skin irritation, good compatibility with water, good dispersion stability to latex coatings, compatibility with most resins and organic solvents, and good hydrophilicity.
