Antioxidant RIANOX 1726

Rianlon is a major manufacturer of anti-aging additives and application technologies for polymeric materials. Products include antioxidants (RIANOX®), light stabilizers(RIASORB®), and U-pack® grades which are anti-aging solutions, with enhanced safety, health and environmental profiles. Rianlon materials are widely used in automotive parts, coatings, construction materials, packaging, electronics, rubber, lubricants and other industries. 

RIANOX 1726 (Old name: THANOX 1726) is a synergistic antioxidant by Rianlon. It is compatible with synthetic rubber, polyethylene, polyamide, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyester, polyurethane, rubber and PVC. It offers multi-functionality, improved performance stability, improved long-term thermal stability, processing stability and maintenance of color properties. RIANOX 1726 is recommended for adhesives.

Primary Antioxidants act as free radical scavengers and are used to protect the finished product from thermal degradation and oxidation, leading to long-term stability as it is able to extend product lifetime and aesthetics in their working environmental conditions. Metal Deactivators are available to be used when the polymer is in contact with metal ions (e.g. copper).                                                            

Multifunctional phenolic antioxidant suitable for stabilisation of organic polymers. Particularly adhesives; especially Hot Melt adhesives based on SBS or SIS, Solvent Borne Adhesives (SBA) based on elastomers (natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, SBR, etc), and water borne adhesives.
