Steps:
Synthesis of compound 2:
To the stirred solution of compound 10 (0.7 g, 2.61 mmol) in ethanol (20 mL), 10% Pd/C (0.07 g, 10 wt %) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred under hydrogen atmosphere overnight. Reaction mixture was filtered through Celite pad to get clear solution. Ethanol was then removed under vacuum to yield compound 1 as colorless oil (0.6 g, 95%) and this compound was used directly for the next step without further purification. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 8.47-8.45 (m, 2H), 7.60-7.55 (m, 2H), 7.44-7.42 (d, J = 8.0 Hz, 2H), 7.10-7.04 (m, 2H), 3.78 (s, 4H), 2.74-2.71 (t, J = 12.0 Hz, 2H), 2.61-2.58 (t, J = 12.0 Hz, 2H), 1.43 (s, 2H, NH2). 13C NMR (100 MHz, CDCl3): δ 159.83, 149.24, 136.53, 123.12, 122.14, 60.90, 57.65, 39.85. HRMS (ESI) calcd for C14H18N4Na [M+Na]+, 265.1429; found, 265.1435.
