General procedure for the preparation of 1,3,5-triazinanes 1-5.
General procedure: A solution of 3.0 g (0.1 mol with respect to formaldehyde) of paraform in 20 mL of methanol and 0.38 g of triethylamine was added to 0.1 mol of amine. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 h. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographed on a column (Kieselgel 60, hexane-ethyl acetate, 10 : 0→7 : 3).
