Steps:
2.3 Step 3: Preparation of 1-(4-aminophenylmethylsulfonyl)pyrrolidine:
26.5 g of the product of the second step of 1-(4-nitrophenylmethylsulfonyl)pyrrolidine (0.1 mol) was dissolved in 20 ml of ethanol, 5% palladium on carbon was added, and hydrogen was reacted at 4 atm, reaction 2 hours. The palladium carbon was removed by filtration to adjust the pH to 3-4. After extraction, the aqueous layer was extracted twice with ethyl acetate, and then the aqueous layer was adjusted to pH 13 again, and ethyl acetate was extracted 2-3 times. The combined organic phases were dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and evaporated under reduced pressure, to give 21.65 g as a white solid, a yield of 90.21%.
