Add 0.2mmol α-alkynyl ketones in a reaction tube 10mL R1is cyclopropyl, R2is phenyl, 0.005mmol of PPh3AuCl, 0.006mmol of AgOTf, 2mmol of H2O, 1mL of methanol, stirred for 12h in air atmosphere at 25 °C. After completion of the reaction, rotary evaporation, product was separated by column chromatography to give the following: 1-cyclopropyl-3-phenyl-1,3-propanedione (1-cyclopropyl-3-phenylpropane-1,3-dione). As a white solid, yield 97%.
