Reaction Conditions:

Stage #1:3-bromo-5-chloro-benzaldehyde;benzamidine monohydrochloride with potassium phosphate in dimethyl sulfoxide at 90; for 1 h;
Stage #2: with magnesium sulfate;2,3-dicyano-5,6-dichloro-p-benzoquinone in tetrahydrofuran;dimethyl sulfoxide at 20; for 0.166667 h;

Steps:

3-bromo-5-chlorobenzaldehyde (30 g, 136.7 mmol), Benzamidine Hydrochloride (42.8 g, 273.4 mmol), K3PO4 (58.0 g, 273.4 mmol) in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) to put the mixture 90°C for 1 hour It was heated.
