Under nitrogen, 4-chlorophenol (3.10 g, 24.1 mmol) and potassium hydroxide (1.17 g, 20.9 mmol) were mixed in 100 ml of N-methylpyrrolidone, and the reaction mixture was heated to 120° C. and reacted for 1 hour.Then 1-bromo-4-fluoro-2-trifluoromethylbenzene (5.00 g, 20.6 mmol) was added, and the resulting mixture was stirred at 140°C for 5 hours.After the reaction, it was cooled to room temperature and extracted with dichloromethane. The organic layer was washed with 10% aqueous lithium chloride solution, then washed with 10% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and distilled to obtain oil 1-bromo-4-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-trifluoromethylbenzene 6.53g, purity 95.42%, yield 87.99%
