6.1.3.1 Procedure F

General procedure: Boc-protected compounds were dissolved in 4M HCl/dioxane solution (5-10mL). After stirring for 30min at rt, dioxane was evaporated in vacuo and the residue was washed several times with diethyl ether. The precipitate was collected and dried under reduced pressure. The amines were obtained as hydrochloride salts and were sufficiently pure to be used in the next step without further purification.
