7 Synthesis of Intermediate 3

In a 250mL single-neck flask, mix 2-aminopyridine-3-phenol (10.0g, 90.8mmol) and 3-iodobenzoic acid (22.5g, 90.8mmol) thoroughly, and slowly add POCl3 (70mL ) Then stir. Then, after heating to 90°C, the mixture was allowed to react for 12 hours. After the reaction is considered to be complete, the reactant is cooled to room temperature and slowly added dropwise to ice.
