Compound F219o-o632a (89g, 0.36 mol) was added dropvise to a suspension of LAH (25.9g, o.68mmol) in DEE (2L) at rt followed by solution of KOH (8.ig) in 90m1 H20. The reaction mixture was stirred for 3hrs at rt, the precipitate was filtered off, washed with diethyl ether. The filtrate was evaporated in vacuo and the residue was dried (3hrs, 1 torr, 40 °C).
