Under ice bath fuming nitric acid (1.0mL, 11.4mmoL) was added dropwise 2-bromo-6-fluoro-benzoic acid (2.5g, 11.4mmoL) and concentrated sulfuric acid (7.5mL) of the mixed solution.After the dropwise addition, this was stirred for 2 hours at room temperature into the system.Poured into ice water (40.0mL), a large number of solid, filtered and the solid washed with water and dried under high vacuum to give a white solid 2.5g, 83% yield.It was used directly in the next step.
