Steps:

1.1 Synthesis of A1

2-Bromo-9H-fluorene (100 g, 407.96 mmol) and a 50 wt% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution (70 g, 897.51 mol)After addition to dimethyl sulfoxide (1000 ml), 1,4-dibromobutane (88.09 g, 407.96 mmol) was added dropwise at 160 ° C, followed by heating and stirring for 3 hours.
