The present embodiment provides a preparation method of 2-chloro-3-phenylpyridine based on a continuous flow reactor, comprising: Dissolve 10 mmol of 2-chloro-3-iodopyridine, 10 mmol of phenylboronic acid and 10 mmol of potassium carbonate in 80 ml of ethanol/water (3:1) mixed solution as a material solution. Then, the material was injected into the continuous flow reactor through a plunger pump, the temperature of the reactor was controlled at 80° C, the system pressure was controlled at 2 bar, and the residence time data was 40 min. After the product was collected, it was separated by column chromatography to obtain 1.88 g of 2-chloro-3-phenylpyridine with a yield of 99%, the content of palladium in the product detected by atomic absorption spectrometer was less than 1 ppm.
