To a mixture of 527d (4 g, 16.9 mmol) in DCM (70 mL) was added DMP (7.0 g, 18.5 mmol) in portions with stirring at 0°C and then stirred at 30°C for 5 hours, before quenched with saturated Na2S03 solution. The organic layer was concentrated in vacuo and the resulting residue was purified using flash column chromatography on silica gel, eluting with petroleum ether: ethyl acetate (20/1-5/1) to provide 527e (3.5 g, 92 %)
