Steps:

3.A A, 5-methyl-2-cyano-2-hexenoate:

To the four-necked flask was added isovaleraldehyde (86.13 g, 1 mol)Cyanoacetic acid ethyl ester (124.42 g, 1.1 mol) and pyridine (23.73 g, 0.3 mol)387 mL of the separated acetic acid after Example 2 was added,0 ~ 10 stirring reaction 1 h,And then heated to 20 ~ 30 reaction 2.5 h.And the mixture was allowed to stand to give 180.69 g of ethyl 5-methyl-2-cyano-2-hexenoate,Yield 99.70%.
