Steps:

Preparation of intermediates 1-3:

Pyrogallol 1-1 (500 mg, 4.0 mmol), Methoxyacetonitrile 1-2 (423 mg, 6.0 mmol) was added to a 100 mL eggplant-shaped bottle. 2mL hydrogen chloride ethyl acetate solution 2.5mL was slowly added dropwise under ice bath conditions. Stir for 1 h, remove the ice bath, and stir at room temperature for 6 h. Spin the system, Add 10 mL of water and continue to stir the reaction for 1 h (the system changes from colorless to light reddish brown). The mixture was stirred and cooled in an ice water bath for 2 h, and the precipitated solid was suction filtered and dried in vacuo. 785mg pale pink solid 1-3 can be obtained, the yield is 99%.
