General procedure: To a solution of ester precursor in ethanol (0.3-0.4 M), wasadded an aqueous hydrazine solution (55%, 3-4 eq.). The reactionmixture was heated to reflux overnight, subsequently the solventwas removed under reduced pressure, and the crude was purifiedusing flash column chromatography (DCM/MeOH 9:1).
