(E)-4-chloro-3-(2-oxopropylidene)indolin-2-one ( 10)[0141] To a solution of 4-chloro isatin (500 mg, 2.75 mmol) in acetone (5 mL) was added diethylamine (314 μ, 3.02 mmol) at room temperature. The mixture was heated to 50 °C for 14 hours with magnetic stirring and then concentrated under reduced pressure.
