B. A solution of K[C3F7CCBF3] (26 mg, 0.09 mmol) and C6H5CF3(5 mL, 0.041 mmol) (internal integral standard) in aHF (0.5 mL) was kept at 0 °C for 2 h without reaction. The complete hydrodeboration of K[C3F7CCBF3] to C3F7CCH (>98% yield) and K[BF4] occurred when this solution was maintained at ~20 °C for 24 h (11B, 19F NMR).
