General procedure for the preparation of pyrazoles (2)

General procedure: To a 25mL Schlenk were added ketone (0.25mmol), p-toluenesulfonylhydrazide (0.275mmol, 1.1equiv), sodium acetate (0.275mmol, 1.1equiv) and EtOH (2mL). The mixture was stirred at 80°C for 12h and allowed to cool down to room temperature. After removal of the solvent, the residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (hexane/EtOAc) or crystallization to afford the pyrazoles 2. The analytical data are in accordance with the literature.9,16-25
