Put 214g (1mol) m-bistrifluoromethylbenzene and 300g (3mol) 98% sulfuric acid into a 1L four-necked flask, and then add 98g (1.5mol) 97% nitric acid and 300g (3mol) 98% sulfuric acid dropwise at about 35 The prepared mixed acid was dripped and kept for 1 hour, then left to stand for layering, the oil layer was washed with water, alkali washed, and then washed with water to obtain 3,5-bistrifluoromethylnitrobenzene with a purity of 99% and a yield of 95%.
