Reaction Conditions:

Under ice bath conditions, 6.1 mL of concentrated nitric acid and 61.0 mL of concentrated sulfuric acid were added to the reaction flask, and stirred and activated for about 4 h. Then, 6.1g of intermediate II was added in portions, and after continuing the reaction for 3h, the ice bath was removed. The reaction was carried out at room temperature for about 36 hours. Ice water was added to the reaction solution and stirring was continued for about 30 minutes. Potassium hydroxide was added in portions to adjust the pH to greater than 12, and stirring was continued for about 2 hours. After filtration, the filter cake was washed with dichloromethane, the filtrate was separated, the organic phase was concentrated, and separated by column chromatography to obtain about 4.4g of intermediate III.
