b.30.2 Step 2: Synthesis of 3-chloro-l,2,4-triazin-5-amine:
To a solution of 3,5-dichloro-l,2,4-triazine (200 mg, 1.33 mmol) in THF (5 mL) was added NEE/MeOH (20 mL, 7.0 M) and the resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 30 min; LC-MS showed that the reaction was completed. Evaporation to dryness and purified by Prep-HPLC to give the title compound (50 mg, 20% yield over two steps). Analytical Data: LC-MS: (ES, m/z) = 131 [M+l]
