Steps:
Tris(3-aminophenyl)phosphine oxide (4)
EtOH (60 mL) was added to triphenylphosphine oxide (5.95 g, 14.4 mmol), Pd/C (400 mg). H2NNH2?H2O (12 mL, 0.41 mmol) was added dropwise at 0 °C and the mixture was stirred at 90 °C for 4 h under Ar atmosphere. After filtration of the reaction mixture, the filtrate was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the obtained solid was recrystallized from MeOH to give the desired product 4 as a white solid (4.26 g, 91% yield).
